Description

This 6 week class is for teens who love improv and want to take their skills to the next level! In this class students will explore the work of Viola Spolin.  Often called the "mother of improvisation," her work is what began the improvisational theatre movement in North America.  Her work is also the only method of actor training developed specifically with and for youth! No previous experience is required for this class.  Whether you have been improvising for years, or are completely new to this artform, this class will meet you where you are at.  No matter what your previous experience, this work will allow you unlock hidden reserves of creativity. Although this work is based in improvisation it also teaches general acting skills and is applicable to any form of theatre or film.
