Acting for Teens - Fall Term
Acting/improv class for ages 13 - 17

Description
In this class students will explore the work of Viola Spolin. Often called the "mother of improvisation," her work is what began the improvisational theatre movement in North America. Her work is also the only method of actor training developed specifically with and for children and youth! If you have a teen who loves acting or improvisation, this class will allow them to grow their skills beyond what they may have thought was possible. Although this method was developed with young people, it has also been used to train professional actors! Beyond teaching skills, this method is fun! It improves confidence, teaches teamwork and co-operation, and improves mental and physical well being.
